Buying a home? Change your utilities!

One of the first things you’ll need to do when you move into a new home is to change your utilities. This includes things like your electricity, gas, water, and trash service. You’ll need to contact each company and give them your new address. They’ll then be able to switch your service over to your new home.

If you’re not sure who your current providers are, you can look on your previous bills or contact your real estate agent. They should be able to give you a list of the companies that service your new home.

Once you have the contact information for each company, give them a call or go online to their website. They’ll usually have a form that you’ll need to fill out with your new address and other information.

Once you’ve changed your utilities, you can start enjoying your new home!
