If you’re moving and have cable TV, don’t forget to return your cable boxes to your service provider. If you don’t, you may be charged a fee.

Be sure to unplug all of your equipment and pack it up safely so that it doesn’t get damaged in transit. And don’t forget to include any remote controls or other accessories.

When you’re ready to return your equipment, just contact your cable company and let them know. They’ll usually arrange for a pickup or drop-off. And that’s it! Once your equipment is returned, you’re all set to enjoy your new home.
